About Linguist Lab

Learning in Small Groups

Small-group language courses designed for steady progress, clear guidance, and practical speaking practice.

Linguist Lab focuses on small-group language learning for adult beginners, continuing learners, and community groups. Our courses combine structured lessons, guided practice, and clear course steps so learners know what to expect from the start.

We offer beginner, elementary, intermediate, and intensive group formats, along with conversation workshops and private group courses. A written learning plan and regular progress reviews help keep each course focused and easy to follow.

A clear start for new learners

The center was founded by Julien Lefevre with a simple goal: make language learning easier to follow in a small-group setting. From the first inquiry through enrolment, the process is designed to be straightforward and well coordinated.

02

Practical group learning formats

Courses are available in Bitche and online, with scheduling that supports both regular study and intensive learning. Learners can choose from scheduled group lessons, guided peer practice, and course formats that suit different starting levels.

03

Feedback that supports progress

Feedback is specific and practical, helping learners see what to practise next in grammar, vocabulary, and speaking. Progress depends on starting level, attendance, independent practice, learning needs, and course duration.

What we value

The Principles Behind Our Courses

A practical approach to language courses, with structure for learners who want clarity and regular support.

01

Written Learning Plans

Our written learning plans give each course a clear direction. They help learners understand the sequence of lessons, the main topics, and the kind of practice expected between sessions.

02

Small-Group Focus

Small groups create room for speaking practice, questions, and shared exercises without losing structure. This format works well for learners who want steady support and active participation.

03

Guided Peer Practice

Guided peer practice encourages learners to use the language with others in a supportive setting. It is especially useful for conversation work and for building confidence over time.

04

Clear Progress Reviews

We keep feedback clear and specific so learners can work on the next steps with purpose. Course progress reviews help identify what is going well and where more practice is useful.
